   Calendar Event: PP Planning Meeting

We need to schedule another PP planning meeting. Items on the agenda are:
- Event date
- Event races and competitions
- Ramp planing
- Corporate Sponsorships (Fundraising and In-kind donations)
- Volunteerism
- How we engage with AW
I'd like to ask everyone who is interested in participating to chime in on this thread. We still need quite a bit of help with the fundraiser activities, including folks who are willing to do solicitation for donations. I would also like to point out that this is a good opportunity to influence the direction of the event.
So, if you want to come, post here. I'd like to propose Tuesday, November 18th. We will pick a venue based on who is coming.
So, please post here if you want to come and help make this the best PP ball yet.

Thanks for bringing this back to the surface Lief. We definitely need to get moving on our plans for next year. It does seem aweful early but trust me ... time flys when your boating in the winter!

I think this first meeting needs to focus on VOL UN TEER ISM. (not a word by the way). Lief, what is your game plan for approaching this sometimes delicate subject?

So, Mr. Shrek. This is actually the second meeting. We really need to focus on dividing and conquering the marketing and sponsorship work. That said, I'd like to get some discussions going around the ramp, though that could be a separate discussion.
Anyone have a suggestion of a place to meet on the east side (Bellevue-ish)? That is pretty centrally located. I was having an urge to do this down at Kells in Seattle, but the parking sucks...

Olympia or Centrailia would be more central for me  But I undersatnd if you want to keep it a bit further North. Let me know what I can do to help. I can manage the Playboating Comp side of it if need be.

Anyone have a thought on an eastside venue? I think we should meet at 6p on Tuesday.

Ok, here is the deal...
Tuesday the 18th, 6:00 PM, Rock Bottom in the Bellevue Galleria (Parking is validated). I am hoping this is centrally located for everyone.
If anyone has an objection, feel free to suggest another venue, so long as it isn't in Renton.
