All tying into the Creeking Comps in the NorthWest is the Wind R. Race.  The race itself is Sunday March 23, but site areas and groups will be doing practice runs all day on the 22nd.  For more info check out

The Wind is a super fun run and there are tons of comp classes: kayak/ raft/ R2 (poss) IK (poss).  So pull out your contact numbers, call up those buddies you only see when you need support on a multi-day trip, and get them to join you with their rafts.

Tony,
Do you know who to speak with to volunteer for the event?  I'm not big on racing, but if I can get out that weekend It'd be fun to paddle down somewhere and set up safety or just watch.
Thanks,
Lanson

Come on Lanson, you know you want to compete.  You'll have that shiny new Mega to cruise down the river in.  That's a fast boat!
