So I always have questions I ponder about sponsored boaters and those that push themselves at the sport. So I figured I would make a little niche where those questions can be asked and responded to by Pro's and Sponsored Boaters. ** By the way if your going to ask a question start another thread **

I will start by asking my first question.

What is the scariest Rapid you have ever run, and at what level? Photo's would be great!

I'm not a pro boater, but i have had a couple scarry rapids over the years. Two that stand out are Big Brother at just over 4 ft. (here's a pic of the weekend before...it was a good half foot higher the next weekend)

the second was dropping into Energizer rapid, 100 foot tall flume slide, on the Toxaway River, NC. with just verbal directions, no scout. rolling over the lip was terrifying.

I am not a pro, sponsored or really all that great in fact I have cut a few bad lines this season but the scariest rapid or drop I have run is Paranoia on the Top Tye. Don't get me wrong I know its not that hard and even beginning creekers run it, but it gets me paranoid everytime. Once I'm at the bottom of that drop I feel like a pro. I think the biggest level I have run it is around 8500 on the goldbar gauge. So it might get done alot and by everyone but it still scares me, but thats why I ain't the sponsored pro!!!!=Dout
