This is the The Bend discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the The Bend | Trip Page

Bellingham boater looks for others to paddle horseshoe bend.  I'm gainfully unemployed so my schedual is open. Too bad it isn't always running.  Could paddle tomorrow.

I was thinking about playboating on the canyon and than running the Bend maybe afterwards.  I want to paddle my new playboat.  Any wood in the Bend or Canyon?

Call me if you want,

The bend is mostly clear, S.A.T has a log that comes in from river right but it is a few feet above the water and easily avoidable. Peeps who have run the canyon havent mentioned any significant wood.

Will- come to broadway hall on monday night at 6:00 and meet some other boaters and watch a video.   www.bellinghamwhitewater.org
Also we usually meet at IGA on thursday nights around 5:30 for a quick lap on the bend.

yo will,

I just got the note that you left on my front door.  nice to meet you and welcome to bellingham.   there is a group of us running the bend on thursday evening.  i agree with chris (zenofww), come and check out the movie on monday.  oh yeah, the canyon is free of wood and for the most part, so is the bend.  and just so you know, the bend is always in.  we have run it down to 300 cfs and it is still fun and still goes!  hopefully you can meet up with us on thursday.
