The Outdoor Adventure Center will be hosting another two part rescue clinic. For those who attended our clinic last fall we have some new tricks, including the minimalist Z drag (recently field tested by Morgan and myself) and the use of rappel devices to create a bomb proof rescue system.
For this Wednesday's class (7pm at our shop in Redmond) we will view the Rescue III International training film "Staying Alive". Once everyone's properly motivated for some rescue practice we will work on knots, ropes, anchors, and rescue systems. If you have some tricks of your own feel free to share and experiment. We will have plenty of gear on hand, but this is a great opportunity to make sure your stuff works the way you think it does.
In addition The Outdoor Adventure Center will be leading a trip this weekend; beginner followed by intermediate runs. I have my eye on the Green, a decision will be made on Friday.
