Topic: pool sessions in Seattle Posted: 20 Oct 2005 at 10:17am |
If there was a new, non-club affiliated pool session in the
Seattle area, what would you guys be looking for?
boats available for demo?
playboat instruction?
what hours/days?
price of admission?
Post your wish lists and maybe Santa will come early this year

All of the above! Well, obvously cheaper is better for the price of admission, but I'm more than happy to pay for a pool session.

My wish for the pool Santa would be:
pools on the eastside and northend and earlier time slots at night or weekend mornings during the winter when the old bones don't want to get in the cold rivers

I have thought about renting the pool out by my house in Renton, well
close to New Castle. I know the manager of the pool there and I used to
work with him. It would cost like about 120.00 per night and that
includes the gaurds. Still pretty spendy

$15 for a pool session is reasonable and since I live in Tacoma, some place in Kent or south would be nice, also Friday nights are cool. Actually If on friday night North is cool to since my G-friend lives in Kirkland. Anyway, the Chlorine really screws up my eyes so I tend to avoid pools, but maybe goggles would help. I was going to Wanita high in Kirkland on Friday nights last year and I can't remember the group that sponsored that pool. It was some outdoor adventure class people, what was their name? Cost about 10 bucks and they were really nice Too.
