I'm taking a couple non-boater friends out on the Big Eddy section of the Sky and could use a couple more newbie-wranglers. This is sure to be good karma for any volunteers.

What time were you planning to depart split rock?

I have a newbie friend (maybe 2) I was also going to take down the Big Eddy section this weekend.  I'd be happy to help wrangle your newbies if you help me with mine.  Is there any way we could meet up?   Also do you have any interest in running the Boulder Drop section above it (before or after the newbie trip)?

I'd like to run the upper section, but someone needs to set a meeting time for both the upper and lower.

We'll be at the railroad bridge at 12:00. Another couple newbies and wrangles would definately be welcome. I won't have time to run the upper section.

Sounds good!  I think one of my newbies just bailed but I will be at railroad bridge at 12:00 with or without the other one (I have a blue shred ready helmet and a green necky chronic).  I am really interested in running the Boulder Drop section though - if we put-in at 9:30 or 10:00 do you think we could do it and be at railroad bridge by 12:00?

I am up for powerline downward if there is an interested group, meeting at split rock at 9:30.  How many people would be interested in this?

Sorry, I'm strapped for time and won't be able to do another run upstream. Actually unless I can scare up another wetsuite one of my newbies is SOL. Turns our Aquasports rents boats, but not wetsuites.  If anyone has any extra (large) gear it might be worth a lot of beer right now.

cheers,

Bryon

I posted a trip for the upper part of the river that should be timed right to connect with this one.  Please sign up there if there is interest to see if it makes sense to try that run as well.

Hey all, I will probably join this trip either on the upper part, the lower, or both.  See you either at Split Rock at 9:30 (silver Tacoma) or at Railroad bridge at noon.  (If I meet you at Railroad bridge, I might at least do the Split Rock/Railroad rapid, too.)

Hey Otter Boy,

I will definitely be there at 12:00 (with one newbie).  I think we are going to get there a bit early and go over some river safety stuff (Unfortunately I'm not going to make it to Boulder Drop this weekend).  Oh well, it will be an awesome day anyways!  See you tomorrow.
