I know there are boarders and skiers among you whitewater guys; I remembered lots of posts about the best snow tires for a Subaru. Snow is falling and need advice, got 2015 outback. I used to boat, then IK's, now just
old. Crazy Crystal Chris

Snow tires wear out pretty quickly if you drive lots of paved roads. I'd recommend whatever is on sale on tirerack.com. Even the cheapest snow tires are amazing compared to all seasons.

Blizzak. Tire Rack. Get a spare set of rims mounted up. Swap your wheels in November and April.

I run General Altimax Artics on my Subaru Forester. They are studded and it's like have treads on a tank in snow.

Thanks for the info. much appreciated. It was a tie Blizzak or, but Michelin Latitude Ice Xi2 won, got a good package deal, wheels, psi gauges, life time warranty guaranty, discount and a rebate. Always had studs, but have tire socks, instead of chains now. I made it without studs last year on all weather, but poor braking; so these should be an improvement. Crazy Crystal Chris thanks you all. Boat, Ski, Drive, Play safe and enjoy!
