If you're in need of Minicell foam or other outfitting I recommend kayakoutfitting.com
This is not so much a recommendation but more of a reassurance. If you go to kayak outfitting.com, you'll see a very basic sketchy site best viewed on your computer not a mobile device. It's a real site with a real person on the other end with good customer service. Eric zitzow is a great boat designer(the Angst) but not such a good website designer.
For $109 & $28 shipping I got foam blocks and sheets from 1/4, 1/2, 2,3&4 inch thickness. I also got some sheets of closed cell neoprene, great for contact areas as it's trippy and soft. I told Eric to cut the big blocks so they fit the shipping restrictions. On the site he can't give you a quote, as foam is high in volume low in weight. I emailed and asked for a quote, which he sent me. He also upgraded most of the blem items I ordered to first.
Definitely enough to outfit several boats or more, for me. So if you need foam or other outfitting check out his site and don't be scared by how basic the site is. Below is pic in my PP gallery showing how much foam. Now I just need a beverage, shurform and contact cement.
I second this, we ordered foam from there recently and it was a great deal and arrived promptly - I couldn't believe we just found out about this site, seems like everyone should know about it.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a paddle.
