You guys can run the crazy upper stuff, maybe some of us could meet you for the lower gorge?

What time are people meeting for a full gorge run tomorrow?

Was on the lower today, great run, but new river wide tree! It's in a straight flat section, easy to see, but definite portage on river left.

Would like to run the upper as well, but need a guide for the more conservative lines. I've run it a few times at this level a year or so ago and don't know all the lines.

Thanks,

Try getting out of the big creek boats and run the Green like its meant to be run....in a play boat! Then, the low water wont kick your ass and you can practice more precise boat control and technique. Sorry creek boaters, low water on the Green is not for you. It is an absolutley spectacular river at lower levels, the beauty and water features are amazing. I will never get tired of this precious gem in the NW at levels between 600 and 3000!

I just ran the lower gorge for the first time in years this past weekend and there was great play the whole way down (maybe even better than the upper gorge at ~1800)... just sayin'

Yeah, what have all ya'll PNWers got against play boats? And if there was such a thing as too low oh no, I might break a paddle, you could always leave the paddle in the car. Power Paws?

Not playboats per-se but rather playboating, I've got ear problems enough with the cold water, and handpaddles fall under the same coldwater category. I haven't touched my hand paddles since I left West Virginia.
The line will become apparent
