FYI. There is a rather large tree in the bottom of mercury before the pool above the nozzle. Lots of branches,Christmas tree type. It extends out from the left bank to the middle. At high water it was easy to get right as we were charging that way anyway. But it might come into play more as the water drops. Happy paddling!
You only get the chance to run a drop blind once.

Why are you paddling on a school day Ellie???
If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.

12/8 - update:
Wood still there. Nearly parallel to bank now. Less in play. Looks like it came down in a landslide. Seems like the landslide it constricting the bottom of Mercury now making a much larger wave and wave train.
HHD is going to evacuate a bunch of water over next couple days. I anticipate this log, along with others, will be shifting. Be careful - enjoy!

As of Wed night, there were a couple pieces in the rapid below Paradise. Hard to see, easy to avoid. Probably be gone before next party gets there.

I didn't see any wood in play in Mercury or Nozzle. There is wood moving around though.
