Post on the 'Wenatchee Valley Kayak Chat' fb group if you're looking for someone to take you out. Tumwater season is looking like it could be very brief. Three amigos + dam rapid is a great way to test out if you're ready for the named stuff on the tumwater.

The great thing about the Tumwater is you can put on / take out in so many places. The stronger boaters can run the full length, but if you want to do just three amigos or dam -> rusty it's not a big deal.

Don't let yourself get pushed into running the named stuff too quickly. There are a lot of really good boaters running that stuff on a near daily basis. It can be easy for the strong boaters to forget how challenging the rapids are.

Thanks!  I'm fully aware of the "named rapids" on Tumwater.  I paddled a small section of Upper Tumwater, now just looking to hit the in betweens at lower water :)  Likely see you all in Der Town this weekend!

Anyone planning to be out there Friday?  I've run dam-chaos a bunch, but looking for someone to show we down the wall and possibly POW.
