Has anyone boated one or done a multiday in one? Liquidlogic emphasizes that these boats are exception on flat water. Have people found this to be true? I'm looking for a boat for whitewater up to class 4, camping, and possibly using for sea kayaking or lake trips. Have you found the dry to be fairly dry? What about the foot pegs....they seem a bit small to me. Thanks for any insight!
Cheers, MPK

The xp is a good boat and one of the first crossovers. However there have been many new entrants into the crossover arena. If you want a boat that rallys class four then I would suggest the Jackson karma unlimited or the Katana from dagger. Full disclosure is that I have the katana and really like it. In my opinion a great fit for whitewater and decent for flatc or slow water trips. As always try before you buy. You are welcome to paddle my 10.4 and my sister owns the 9.7 and would likely let you try it as well. Good luck and get the one you want and that fits best.
Thanks for the offer to borrow the boat! I will be sure to try more than one before I actually buy. I've had the chance to sit in the Dagger, but I wanna sit in the LL too. The outfitting is so different.....

I've got a Wavesport Ethos 9 that I used on the Grand Canyon in a self-support trip. I'm 5'9" 160 and the 10 seemed a little big for me. Most of my group used the Remix XP10 and the handling comparisons were similar. Both are a bit spinny without the skeg down. We all started running rapids with the skeg down after day one except if it was really boney. The Ethos has a bulkhead instead of foot braces - super comfy and easy to roll. My hatch was much drier than the xp boats. I'm thinking of selling it if you are interested, and in any event, you are welcome to borrow it to try it out.
