On the same note, for those who don't know, American Whitewater has KML files with all the rivers in the state (at least those listed on the AW website), and they change color depending on what's running. They are located at the bottom of each state's rivers page...

I find that I have to save it to my computer and rename it to something like "WA.kml" before Google Earth will open it, but it works well. It's great for seeing where runs are in relation to each other, and to get a quick idea of what's running. Having moved around quite a bit, I have found it very useful for getting oriented to a new area and figuring out which runs are close and which ones are far away. Big thanks to AW for making that resource available.
