Quite a few people out and about gawking at the power of the river. Made the Sky valley tour checking Sunset, Eagle and of course BD. Water was cresting up and over Split. Lots of wood coming down. Not sure if Sam and others put on but it looked pretty dicey with all the alligators and crocs emerging and disappearing randomly. Sunset has by far some of the most impressive displays of raw river power I have ever witnessed. Huge waves generated as the flow down the slide collides with the surges of current directed back up into the maw.

Yeah, that was some big water. Made it out after all, even the boat ramp at big eddy was almost totally underwater.
