Hey gang- in your collective experience, is the best weekend for Tieton action the second or third of Sept., this year being Sept. 13-14 or 20-21? I can only make one of them and am under some prssure to decide sooner rather than later.

Thanks.

There are a couple of phone numbers on the Tieton river page:
http://www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/yakima/yakstats.html

If you call one of those numbers a real life human being picks up and I think you can find out what the plan is for this year. If I had to guess it's going to be 13-14.

Unsure of the plan of the hand on the dam, but today's Tieton release spiked to ~1200 CFS. Early for the gully washer.

Not sure of the details on the Damn, there's a number u can .call to find out. but we were just there on the 29th lost a paddle and had some major fun in the morning it was running 1400 and then around 3 we ran it again(when we lost the paddle) and it was probably 1600+ confirmed by viewing the Dam which was full y open compared to one jet in the morning.
