I had made plans to spend Tuesday at the Ohane before I looked at the gauge. Now it looks like its dropping out and I'm trying to steer towards UU Cispus.

It looks like the Cowlitz will be around 900ish and that sounds pretty low. How well does this gauge correlate to the low end of flows?

Anyone been on the UU cispus lately?

The Ohane, as of last year, was not worth boating (in my opinion) when the Cowlitz gauge was around 1100-1200. However, there seems to be more water in the Ohane this year than last year at the same gauge readings (i.e. 1500 on the gauge seemed like more water this year than 1500 on the gauge last year). Based on this, I think that 1000 could be the new 1200, but I didnt get out there to find out. JD did a lap yesterday and reported it was low.

Definitely more water this year for the same gauge reading. Having said that, I think she's about done. I did a lap each of the past 3 days, and today, was "down in there". Quite a bit of difference between 1,000 and today's 900. Some folks hit the Cispus on Sat/Sun, and I haven't heard any discouraging reports. Earlier raft run, said it was all good.
