There will be at least a small group of catarafts running the Cascade on Saturday if flows are 2200 or below...

It's always great to see kayaks out there! Get in touch if you want to hook up...

A small group of us got on the Cascade on saturday. The wood in bridge has gotten slightly better, the large piece of wood spanning the top of the last "manky" pitch (after the first 2 ledges) was gone, with only a small piece on river right just out of the way of the usual sneak. Just below Bridge theres wood scattered about most of it obvious, we ran the right channel and there was a lousy/bad piece of -avoidable- wood in that channel. I would consider running left there, maybe scout. Everything else was clean. Been running it at higher flows lately, thinking 2000-2700ish is the most difficult, then after that things start flushing out and theres more huge waves and less holes, except the holes that are there are massive. Good fun tho. Should have another week or two left of good water.

Do you think cat boats can avoid the wood in the right channel after Bridge Wreck?
