I was planning on scotch guarding my dry suit. Good, bad, useless?..
What got me started on this was thinking I had to wash it first. I might boat tomorrow and didn't want the inside wet, so I put it on hopped in the shower and lathered up. It seemed like a simple way of washing the outside and it made me wonder what other dumb lil things might not of occurred to me.
So, if you have any useful things you've found in your time boating, let me know! It's a narrow field so there may Not be much. Any paddle hacks welcome.
You can put a thin layer of aqua seal on small pinholes if you don't plan on sending the suit to kokatat for a legit fix. This will get you many more years of use.
If you have any other brand than kokatat, its probably not worth fixing and this is a good option.
Good ones! That Aquaseal stuff is amazing. I was just thinking about mensioning it. Any problems voiding waranty?
Haven't used candle wax yet.
Kokatat seems the standard. My first was a stolquist... As a back up i got palm bibs and top. I think next will be kokotat. Every boater in WA can't be wrong!
Plus, i tlink sticking local is good... Easier waranty wise too.
