I just ripped out a neck gasket and was wondering which shops offer the service of repairing gaskets? I'm not from the area but will be travelling in on Monday so hopefully I can send in my drytop and can just come by to pay and pick it up! Thanks for the help,
Owen

Kayak academy is a good place! They also sell kits so you can do your own gasket repair. I know you can buy parts at Cascade Paddlesports (the old Aquasports) too.

I am a fan of doing your own... one real reason above all others. The first few you do might turn out crappy, but think of all the times you have been back in the woods or on some trip and had a gasket rip... save the learning for your garage and make fast quality repairs when you are sitting at the campsite!

Otherwise you might find yourself on an overnighter or long trip mighty wet all the time.

Hey guys,
We do gasket repair at Kayak Academy. We use a hot melt process to remove your old gasket, and install a new one. The new gasket looks like it came straight from the factory. There is no excess glue, and you don't have to worry about messing up the process. We also do drysuit leak testing and repair, specializing in Kokatat drysuits.

Hope this helps.

At Kayak Academy we have a 3 day turnaround for gasket repairs, and around a week for leak testing.  We specialize in Kokatat suits and repairs, but can repair other brands as well.  We also have rental suits available if necessary.

Neck 59.00 ea.
Wrist 33.50 ea.

If you call in, mention you are a part of Professor Paddle, and you will save 10% on the cost of repair.

Thanks,
