Nothing spectacular, but the Powerhouse section of the Snoqualmie will have some small waves and holes. You can't drive to the top of it, but I just walk (or attain) from the takeout. Good burger stand in Fall City afterwards and hundreds of people tubing for entertainment.

I just got into town and I am also looking for some park and play. Living the un-employed dream right now so I have lots of time to go check stuff out.

"Skook"

Not exactly "Seattle Area", but high quality, or so I've been told. Not too much park n play this time of year. Not much playboatn anywhere, right now in fact.

Coast2coast-- you got a creek boat? Tumwater is low but still fun. Not too close to seattle, but worth the drive.

I don't have a creeker yet, but I am looking to buy one over the winter. I have a scant season of paddling under my belt so I have been spending a lot of time in the playboat improving the basics.

I am coming from Maine where we had tons of neighborhood play spots. I know Washington is kind of a creek boaters paradise so I need to step up my game a bit.

I want to get out to skookumchuk really bad. One of my buddies is moving up to Vancover this fall so his place may end up being base camp for BC paddling
