Thank you for starting this thread. I'm looking for the best Class II within reach of Seattle. Wave trains are good. Strong eddy lines are not as good. Boulders are fine too (as long as there's not too many).
Catch your eddies,
Christian

I dont know that I've ever actually run this section before. I'm usually on the middle middle. I've heard enough from people though to know this is a good next step for Lauren. I'm really trying to build eddy skills with her now so if you want practice then come on out. Do you have a roll?

Just be aware that it gets a trifle bony at these levels you will have to really hunt for the channel in a couple of spots. The only real rapid is the one right at the take-out.

I was thinking 10ish at the put in and we can run shuttle. I still have to look up where the take out is.

My husband and I and a friend from team dagger will be doing the club run on Saturday. Meeting at 2pm at the putin.
We are not beginners, but I doubt any of us know the run. (all just moved to the area recently) so maybe I can create some carnage for those that need entertainment value.  Class II, read and run right?

Maybe we'll catch you guys for a second lap. I wanted to get an early start to give plenty of time.

I want to join!

10 am! I'm there!
Have done this section numerous times and know it pretty well.
I am a beginner and this has been my training ground. Pretty easy and good for beginners
Up for two or more laps, it is pretty short depending on breaks and swims. I know of a take out a little down river of blue hole as well!
C-you in the morning.
If you get this,
text me at 206-375-6926 to confirm or update changes.
thanks,
Mike

Definitely down for a 2:00 run!
I have done this section many times and it has been my training ground, since I am a beginner. I am hoping to connect with the 10 am crew, but am up for a second lap and we should be done before 2.

text me at 206-375-6926 to confirm or update any changes.
Thanks,
Mike

Our 2pm plans changed as we may be joining the 10 am group (and mike..my husband has finally trained me well enough not to text anyone this early. Just because I am up doesn't mean I need to wake others up too )
