In an effort to enlist as many as possible, I copied and pasted this from an email I recieved recently.  Not sure how many have heard about the proposal, but it sounds like it is moving forward full steam ahead.  So, if you are opposed to seeing a dam on the Wild Sky please attend.  Details below: 

SAVE THE DATE!! Wednesday, JUNE 12TH
3PM - Sunset Falls 6PM - Index Fire Station
PUD plans are proceeding nicely to study the feasibility of constructing a dam above Canyon Falls with a hydropower plant at Sunset Falls. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is coming to Sunset Falls with PUD managers for a site visit at 3pm on June 12. FERC may be under the impression there is little or no local opposition to these dam plans and we NEED YOUR HELP in setting the record straight.
At 6pm the same day, there will be a public meeting at the Index fire station and your presence is needed there as well; FERC wants to hear from you! Please visit our website www.SaveTheSkyRiver.org for more information or email us through the website if you have any questions. Check the website as June 12 draws near to get details about signs, banners, and where we need your body. Please mark your calendars and plan to be near Sunset Falls by 2:30 June 12th in preparation for the FERC visitors.
