So is anyone up for an earlyish run on the Wenatchee, from Peshastin to Cashmere? We have three of us, but would feel a lot safer with 5 or so. Two of us are are strong class III boaters, but this would be my first time on this run in a hardshell (I have done it in an Alpacka packraft, though). In other words, I might swim once or twice. I ahve done the MM and lower green, and swam on both of these at one time or another (but not last weekend, when I did both!)

Our goal is to meet at the take out at 10am, and be driving back to Seattle by no later than 6 (5 would be even better!). Nothing is final yet, and dependent on getting a couple more.

Hit me up: two o 6 8 five 3 five four 7 won

Nat

I should also add this:

I mostly might need you to save my boat, and I will get toy a beer each time, with a two beer minimum.

We can carpool from Seattle too! Leaving at about 7:30am, back by 8pm.

Or, if this whole thing just sounds like a bad idea, feel free to speak up. I occasionally have bad ideas.

Sounds like a GREAT idea, to me. If the outfitting of my playboat wasn't busted up I might even sign up. The only thing I'd suggest, is that if you know beforehand that some swimming may be involved, a longer stretch (from Der Town) may not be best. On the other hand, aside from Boulder Bend it is mostly flatwater...

Choose your own adventure, as they say
