Yo folks, I'm new to both of these. I have a place for me and the wife to crash in Cashmere and am hoping to just have a lot of fun. But I'm not sure how to parse these two gigs into some kind of free range experience. Doesn't look like there is much coordination of these events which is fine. But hoping I can do a few laps on the big W that weekend and maybe spill some beer too (afterwords). Is it possible to bike between Cashmere and the PP Ball location, etc.? Any other advice on how to manage these gigs as some kind of dual experience? I have friends in both camps. Thanks for any input!

I will also be participating in both events though still working out the details.

  Really looking forward to it!
You mean I'm supposed to wear something UNDER my spray skirt? Where's the fun in that?

Ya, biking between is no problem. You can still get a dwi on a bicycle though...

What I want to know is what is the WKC's agenda for the weekend. It is hard to get info because their website seems broken or something.

Are they holding a down river race on the Wenatchee?

Good, keep the stream of info flowing here. I'm so stoked to be able to somehow manage to partee down but also somehow cover the bases.  Also hoping I can snag shuttles to do a few Peshastin-Cashmere laps somehow in all the mayhem. I guess the only way to deal with this kind of gig is to Woodstock it- just go all out and expect anything, try and keep the powder dry, and the lamps trimmed and burnin'.

Yeah, it would be most awesome if we could arrange a constant shuttle service for the weekend.

Nanook- thanks for the link.
So: Downriver Race on the Wenatchee on saturday. I may prioritize saturday for this event. I think we should do PP's creek race on sunday. Just a suggestion.

I ain't paying no one to throw a throw bag, though- when I throw a throw bag, I get paid. And if I want more practice, I'll hang out under the bridge at Hussum.
