I was out on the Wenatchee this weekend with WWU's Outdoor Center, and checked out the new rock in Drunkards. Noah and I decided to run the left side of the new rock, and it's pretty sweet. It was about 5170 cfs. There's a nice pillow on either side to bank on, then you can slide right along the seam/eddyline behind the rock.
It seems to me like if you can see the top of the rock it will probably run pretty well on that side at least until it gets pretty low. When the water pours over the top is when the hole behind it starts to look pretty nasty.
Just something new on a commonly run rapid.

Not sure, I haven't personally seen it at high water, but that original one hit wonder wave's gone. I heard trinity's been destroyed, but I have a friend who says it gets pretty meaty behind the rock at higher water.
It's still changing - went past it last night and the rock looks like the top has been getting worn off. At 11k on the Peshastin gauge there was a wave that was in the same general area as trinity was so we'll see I guess.
