Yeah, it seems early for this thread, except that I almost forgot I had been thinking of FITWah for some time now, myself.

Soon it will be time to queue up some JayB style Cupdate's.
That's JayB (not jP).

Jay B coined the term "Cupdate", if I recall.

From here on out boaters going over the pass should stop and look at the FITWah Cup. Post your Cupdate w/ date, time, and your personal evaluation of how much is in the cup. Does it runnith over? I like a little spillage and slosh myself. I like two or three points of rock or a little less, with three mini channels flowing in and out the corners. Some like the rim of the cup high and dry. Half Empty, Half Full...
A few even like to cover the whole cup, but then Fisherman's gets stout n sticky. Anyway, can't wait.

Wouldn't mind seeing some one nut up and run 'Lil Frankie

It's been 3 weeks since I was up that way, but the cup was behind a 10 foot high snowbank... it would be pretty impressive if that's all melted out already.

On usual snow pack years when we head over for the PP ball it is still snowed in. I re-call one year seeing some vehicles parked at the overpass with playboats strapped up top obviously heading to the wenatchee and getting a little creekin done on the way. Nothing wrong with the snow laps! The road is usually not totally clear until the first couple weeks of June.

And a saw ain't a bad edition to bring to those early FITWah forrays...maybe snoe shoes...
Yup. Early for the FITWah, but we can still salivate for our cute little "miniture golf" style creekin classic, can't we?

Tromped over in snowshoes after some skiing today. The cup is actually covered in snow, but I would guess it was pretty ELF today. About 5 feet of snow on the road.

We're thinking of checking it out on Saturday, has anyone been up there lately?

I stopped by on my way over the pass 2wks ago.

Snow had melted out of the cup, but road still had many feet of snow on it. Level was too low to run (8" below the cup?)

May all have changed by now, of course...

Couple feet of snow on the road as of this Saturday morning. Warm up there though.
