Just kidding, but here are some photos of Canyon Falls.  I've never seen any pics of this before, it is an incredible place.  If you frequent the Sky, you need to take the extra trip to visit this place.  Make sure not to run it accidentally - you could find yourself in a bad place if the conditions aren't right.

So you know, the photos don't show the crux :)

Cheers,
Gordon

A word of caution on Canyon Falls, it was about 3 grand on the main sky  and the takeout on river right was a little tricky.  There is a rock wall on the right that would make it almost impossible to portage or get out probably too much higher than this.  I cannot be certain that this thing is actually a killer but I would call it class 6.  The landowner issues on river left would make for a bad scene if you tried to portage there.  So my recommendation for this is never try to run and portage this section much higher than 3 g on the main sky gauge.  This could be a fatal mistake if you don't get around this monster, really nasty looking.

With similar landowner issues on river right and pretty much the whole river bottom being pot-holed out with lava tubes this drop may never be run intentionally. at least by me

We all look at the spout, it was heinous!!! You would slam a rock wall on your way down, hit a log in the eddy, get knocked over by the river wide sweeper log just downstream before a mank pin piton class V rapid.  Harms you said it, you guys are in for a "sufferfest"

Nick is right about the levels here, if you screw it up, you will be in a bad place with little way of recovery.  Even if the levels are right, if the rock is wet I would not visit Canyon Falls.
