Wood situation as of 10/20/12 wasn't bad.  I remember some wood in the upper section that did not span the entire river and was visible.  Lower section had a river wide tree with branches straining down.....it's well visible portage on river left.

Hey Todd, I remember there being one river-wide tree early after the start of the run that would probably need to be portaged at higher flows, right?

I'd be up for a run also.  Travelling from Seattle / Greenlake.  Can only make the weekends....  so hopefully the water will hold.

Post back here if you think it will happen.

Potentially down for a Sunday run if the levels are looking right.  Will follow this thread and plan accordingly....

Gonna be on the Green Saturday but with some rain in the forecast Saturday eve... the Pilly just might be in play for Sunday. Fingers crossed.

Looks like it came up to about 1100 and is probably gonna start dropping. Should be enough juice for a run this morning. Anyone game?

Hey Joe:

There's a couple of us leaving from Seattle at 8:00 that'd definitely be interested. Where/when do you want to meet? Will follow up with a text...

Sweet... another good run on the Pilchuck today. Thanks everyone for coming out.

We just ran the middle as it looked like it would be dropping too much for the upper. Turns out it stayed up over 800 and the upper would have been ok. Oh well. Still a great trip.

Thanks Joe - good run.  Will have to keep an eye on levels and get an upper run in.

Alert! Pilchuck Cr is going up again! If the flow is over a grand in the morning, we are gonna raft the upper and middle. Meet at put-in around 10am?

Catch it if you can!
