Meeting Place : Drive out I-90 and exit at Alpental. before you actually head up to alpental you can turn west and head down to franklin falls. Turn left (west) and head down. In winter this is snowed in and your hike begins here. Head down to where the freeway crosses over the road. 100 yards down river is FITW Proper, a few hundred meters below this water fall is the beginning of the run.

I decided to go ahead and post a trip since there is some interest. The forecast is calling for sun and the level should be pretty mellow. I'm planning on getting there early and running laps till my arms give out. I'll bring some beer, dogs and a 2 burner stove too. BTW, If any first timers want to give FITW a try this should be a good day to do it. Tom
