So, I was trying to research a little more about the NF Sky and in looking at Snohomish County website, it looks like there are actually two gauges on the NF Sky - one in Index and one in Galena. Click for link

Anyone know how to correlate stage height on either of these gauges with approximate flows?

Unfortunately, the county website isn't the best in terms of looking at historical information either. The data is there for the NF Sky @ Index through May but unavailable for the Galena gauge after October 2010. I suspect they update the history database with some frequency - just not sure when.

So, for example, unless Mike looked at this gauge last Saturday when the flow on the Sky @ Goldbar was 9500, and he reported that the flow was the "good side of low", it is unclear whether today's recorded stage @ Galena of 4.77 feet is higher or lower than the "good side of low"

Unlike the Snohomish County website, you can actually look at the historical data in text form for the recent past. This is clearly a better gauge to use than the Sky @ Goldbar gauge - we just have to establish some baselines to know what levels are good.

I know that Mike first run was on June 4th. Sadly, that data isn't available but Mike's memory was it was @ 4.75 - the good side of low. I know that Mike ran it again on the 11th, level was 4.96 feet (@ 11:30 AM)

I ran it with Mike and a bunch of other folks on the 12th @ 4.6 feet (@ 11:30 AM). It didn't feel "low" to me, but, it was my first time down so what do I know. More water would have been fun but it was certainly a fun level I'd do again without hesitation.
