So I have to work most of the weekend, but have some friends that want to go raftin. Would the club stretch of the snoqualmie be entertaining for some first time aprehensive paddlers on Sunday? Thanks for the advice as I have never paddled this stretch.

Of what I remember of the club stretch, it's really mellow. Mostly class 2 ripples. Would be a pretty boring raft trip but if all you want is to float then it may be ok. Take them down the middle middle and have some fun. A raft would have no problem there keeping everyone in the boat.
