Hi, I'm new to the area, but want to get in my boat!  I'm (or at least was/have been!) a pretty solid class III boater, but haven't been in my boat in a year and only every now and then for the last few years due to a recent exile to southern California.  I learned to kayak at Humboldt State and am most familiar with the Klamath and Trinity rivers.  I'd like to give the MM a try, or at least hook up for another trip in the next few weeks before I start school at SU June 20.  Let me know if you think the MM is a good start or if you would feel more comfortable meeting up for a lesser run the first time.  Thanks!  Jill

Tom and Adrian, looks like there's a bit of a migration to the 5:30 trip. You staying with 6:00?

Yeah, that 5:30 is an old trip.  I'll come tonight.  6, is it, then?  Jill, if you're good on the Klamath and Trinity stuff, I suspect you'll be fine out here.

Hey all,

Thanks for the invite.  I just spoke to Mike from Washington Kayak Club, and I think I'm going to try to find a South Fork trip since I haven't been in my boat in awhile.  I'd probably be okay on the MM, but I don't want to make anyone overly nervous, including myself!  Let me know if you'd like to take a trip down the South Fork section anytime soon.

Thanks!

Jill
