Hello. This is Emily's boyfriend in from Montana. I was curious if anyone wanted to do the Green Gorge tomorrow during the day or do any other runs in the area. I'm looking for some class 4/4+ fun. Seth

I'm passing thru the area and would be interested in doing the Green Gorge. I've never done it but I'm confortable paddling class IV and the rivers pages shows the upper as III-IV.

Are you thinking of upper, lower, or both. I can't do a long day as I'd like to be in Redmond later afternoon.

I'm coming from the south passing through Portland this evening.

Can anyone recommend camping somewhere between Portland and the Green?  Halfway would be ideal.

Gerard

Ike Kinswa state park is at the Take out for the Tilton river, it's at a prime play level BTW. It's a little off the highway but is a nice spot.

Closer to I-5 there is also , Millersylvania SP, Lewis and Clark SP, Seaquest, and Mt. St. Helens. Millersylvania is close to Olympia, and Mt. St. Helens is closer to PDX.

Good luck
The line will become apparent
