Old video but have you seen it? First time I have and WOW! What a mess.

A bit pointless and well regretted to have thrown his paddle. That little thing was real sticky icky.

It was a perfect hole. Granted they had safety, but you think they'd have noticed the dynamics of the hole before he decides to throw his paddle away...

All that's missing from that last video is the music from Benny Hill.  Nothing but a cluster f*** from start to finish!

Old video that has been seen many times, not a time goes by that I wonder what most of those guys were thinking. I got all the respect for shananagianans that go right but when they go wrong, well you look like an idiot.

First Video: That's one h3ll of a hole and I'm really glad it wasn't me stuck in it... I've see it before, and I have to wonder why in the world that guy threw his paddle away on a 15 foot drop?? What in the world?!

Second Video: That's a cluster F*** of a river run if I've ever seen one!! Maybe I had a different view, but it seemed like it was the inflatables that were causing most of the issues. Although there were a few good ones from the hard-shells too! But why do so many people pull their skirts without even trying to roll?!

Random question: in the second video I noticed some of the two-person IKs had an equivalent to spray skirts. Does this change the type of boat it is, or its classification? Is it common?

Blair that video is awesome. That clip is like 8 minutes of solid carnage served up by mostly folks that have no idea what they are doing... except for having a  blast.

Decked IK's are more common in the eastern block European countries. Open IK's swamp which the ex commies find distasteful. When decked IK's wrap they trap the boaters using them, which American boat retailers find distasteful. Also most of the inflatables in the video were canoes.

My favorite is Boomers Beatdown. Boomer had good incentive to stay in his boat. :-)

ahh yeaa-- the video is flowing in abundance throughout the interwebulary armchair kayaking facilitator...
Webyakking...

still, that endless parade of inflatibles and assorted novices down such a boney little ditch...

wasn't that footage from the PPBall a few years back? (Peshastin Creek)
   no? my mistake

it does remind me of endless summer days watching the carnage on the Lower Yough.

I dunno- carnage is best witnessed on the spot-- still, it was entertaining, I confess.

"See the show or be the show" as my friend Bill Hall used to say...
