I'd be afraid  to speak up if I really was into Teen porn, Gucci Loafers, Or if I needed viagra. I don't need or want any of those things.

But seriously, that site has obviously been hacked into, and yes, it has always seemed to me that "no one was at home" over there (shell me all you want- just stateing the obvious truth). I think the folks at WKC are great. I just wish the feeling was mutual. It seems they are choking off their connection with "Generation Next", and it's a bummer. I've been paddling as long as most of the folks over there, I just see the importance of connecting with new blood to keep my own growth rate as a paddler strong.

 

(shrug)- the rivers still flow downhill and people still show up at the put-ins. I have a variety of folks to paddle with no matter what, so I guess I don't have a problem. But I'd like to see the WKC flourish because they have made significant contributions to the local paddling community over the years.

 

At the very least they need to address that issue with their site, otherwise I won't touch it w/ a ten foot paddle (like the one you'd use for "Striding").

 

 

 

Dave, I don't know what the deal was with the WKC website, but I know a person who helps puts the WKC Bulletin out. If you're interested, I could get you two in contact-- maybe they could start a "for sale" section & your boat could be posted?
