   Calendar Event: Local boating video contest!

I've brought this up before, just thought I would throw it out there again.
With Fall on the horizon and Winter looming, most of us are going to pack up the boats and gear for the better part of the season. So what better time to relive the summer glory than through beer fueled video editing.
Would people be stoked to catch a video contest at a bar or at someone's home this Winter or early Spring?
Are there people who would like to contribute content?
Thoughts, suggestions are welcome!

My video will have mostly partying, small clips of boating in between the party lifestyle.
Bong tokes/shotgunning/shots
probably some firearm use in there as well for good measure!

I would expect some amazing editing and some amazing boating...
or uh... right... well, you know... some shaky video of some whitewater and people floating in brightly colored plastic trash cans trying to survive.

Alright. Adrian is gonna put together a video for the contest as well!
This should be a great time.
What about venue? Would PP'rs like to watch all this local glory at a bar or at a more low key establishment? Anyone have any preference?

the mission in west seattle has an upstairs you can rent for free with a big screen tv couches your own bar and your own server to get drinks plus some pretty bad ass food... it could probably hold 20+ with some standing room only..

Hey all, just a reminder that this event is coming up quickly! Get those videos finished up and over to Dan in the next week or two so he can sort out any issues before showtime.
Hey Dan, is there an official entry time length we're shooting for here? 5 min? I think a range of 5-10 minutes might work out nicely...
